In the framework of the project “TeleICCE – Promotion of teleworking and mass open e-learning (MOOC) to increase the competitiveness of business clusters and employment” of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Program “Interreg V / A Greece-Italy 2014-2020”, the Greek Open The University is conducting a group discussion (Focus Group – research) with self-employed and self-employed professionals of the Region of Western Greece, regarding digital platforms freelancing platforms and mass open online courses.
The research aims to explore the perspectives that open up to companies through the platforms of remote business collaboration with freelancers on the one hand, and the improvement of skills on the other through the platforms of training and skills acquisition. The aim of the project is to promote the adoption of a framework that will allow the use of two innovative digital forms of collaboration and skills enhancement. The project promotes the adoption of innovative models of business telecommunications, as well as the remote adoption of training systems (e-learning platforms such as MOOCs) to develop skills, enhancing the competitiveness of the media and the employment of professionals.
The discussion will take place through the use of the electronic platform WebEx, on Monday 29/6/2020 at 18:00 – duration 2 hours.
In the next stage, they will follow, to freelancers / self-employed:
- Training seminars for freelancers
- Mentoring for business plans & career paths adaptation
- Creating a Career Path for each participant.
